The cold light mirror mechanism
When materials with different refraction rates are coated with a reflector mirror, the interference effect of the multilayer film permits to reflect visible light but not infrared rays. As a result, the reflected light does not heat the object, and is thus referred to as "cold light".

Our multilayer thin film is used for these cold light mirrors, which have various applications, such as the lighting in stores, dental mirrors, and surgery lights. It is also increasingly being used in reflectors for projectors.
