In 1995, I ended my 16-year career at the National Police Agency in order to succeed my father as a president of Okamoto Glass Co., Ltd. Since then, I have devoted my life to learning the specialty glass industry, and to develop better management.   The glass industry is a very attractive business where you can create unlimited characteristics of glass by changing the compounding recipe.   I have realized that accumulated know-how is extremely valuable for our company. Furthermore, we inherit the traditional Japanese spirit of manufacturing with sweat and hard strive to effort made at the production site.   With this strength, we improve our production, research and development in oreder to explore every avenue for new markets as a front runner.   By polishing our core-competence; technologies of material development, forming and molding, and of thin film manufacturing, our company has become the world's top manufacturer in the dental mirror light and projector reflector markets.   It is based on the endless pursuit of new technology which has grown our company.
